Wish it had a little booklet too!
The video is well done. The instruction is fine. The production values are excellent with useful camera angles. Song choices are excellent and include a few of my favorites.
The only reason that I don't give it 5 stars is because unlike other instructional videos I own, this one does not have a pamphlet that has the music or tab and the only way you can get it is to copy it from the screen when you play it. Sometimes you want to practice but you are not located near your DVD player or a computer.
Fun lesson, wish they provided a source for the tabs.
The products is everything they advertise. It would be make the learning complete if they provided a printed tab or pdf file so we could print out the tabs. It is quite difficult and time consuming to properly write out the tabs using the correct notation.
Great Guitar Training
I'm Very Pleased with this Product. I've been trying for a long time to learn and master, Santana's SONG OF THE WIND, and with this I'm able to work it correctly. I just watched and started on it last night, and the Guitarist is NOTE-for-NOTE, spot on. This instrumental is Like the Soul of someone singing. My Spirit just soars when I here it and playing it will be even more so. Watching them, it looks simple, and on one level, it is, but it has so many Subtle Nuances of little 'changes' and 'turn-arounds' that it is, at the same time, quite challenging to put all of it together. It is a masterpiece of Both Carlos Santana and Neil Schon, who both took turns playing the parts, so well, you can't tell where one starts and the other picks up.
